What we do as Steve Poole Bulk Tippers
We provide a service to other Businesses by providing skips for their metal recycling needs.
Rather than them paying a waste company to remove their waste metal, we provide the skip and bring their metal directly to our yard for processing.
Because scrap metal has a value their scrap metal waste is weighed and can be offset against the price of getting a skip. In most cases, this means that they have the skip and the collection free of charge and for heavier weights where the cost of the collection is less than the value of their waste metal; they will receive money for their metal too.
We specialise in factory contracts and businesses on private land, not general public needs.
The cost of the skips is based on which area we are going to. It is a basic cost to cover cost of fuel and driver time and every job we do is evaluated individually to suit the requirements of our customers.
This work sees us covering all local areas of Staffordshire and into Cheshire. We have some contracts in Chester and on the Wirral too. We are also sub-contractors for United Utilities Waste Water work which sees our vehicles servicing sites in Merseyside and Cheshire.
With our 32 Tonne Tipper we do work for other companies to transport loads on their behalf and often deliver Sand, Coal, Soil, and aggregates as well as Metals. We charge a haulage fee for this type of work and the costs are calculated on distance and time.
The haulage side of the business sees us working throughout the North West in Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Derbyshire and in and around the Birmingham area, up to a 70 mile radius of Stoke on Trent.
